BANGKOK: Bangkok is the largest city in Thailand, as well as being it's capital and main port.  It is the cultural, educational, political and economic center of Thailand, as well as being the only metropolis.  Bangkok has grown and expanded to include the area Thon Buri, which had at one point been the capital of Siam, and the combined area are commonly known as Krung Thep Mahanakhon.  The area of Bangkok, including Thon Buri and other provinces, is approximately 23 miles (37 km). Most residents of Thailand are native Thais, although there is an influx of Chinese immigrants as well as Indians, Arabs, Malays and Europeans.   Most Thais are welcoming and friendly to visitors to Bangkok, as it is one of the most highly visited cities in Southeast Asia. Bangkok is also well-known for its water travel by way of its rivers.  Bangkok is also the center of transportation in Thailand with major roads and railways branching out to various parts of the country. In Bangkok, numerous beautiful temples can be found featuring traditional Thai architecture. The old sections of Bangkok are immensely popular tourist spots, particularly with the royal Grand Palace.  Bangkok is an interesting blend of traditional buildings and modern skyscrapers.

AIRPORT: On 28 September 2006, Suvarnabhumi Airport (IATA: BKK; ICAO: VTBS), became Bangkok's official international airport, replacing Don Mueang.
 
PATTYA: Pattaya, a premier beach resort of Thailand, attracts thousands of pleasure-seeking tourists from all over the world. The place offers a gamut of entertainment options including beach-based sports, excursions and nightlife. Tourists can indulge in water sports or take trips to offshore coral islands. Water sports are activities of choice on Pattaya travel and tourism. And the choice is huge. One can pick from the sports like windsurf, water ski, swim, sunbath, snorkel, sail, parasail and game fishing. Pattaya holds several international and national sailing events every year. Water skiing is a popular sport as is parasailing. Experienced divers can enjoy themselves as boat diver, drift diver, underwater naturalist, and underwater videographer. Fun-filled beach activities like banana boat rides, jet skiing, and beach football can also be enjoyed on the beaches.
 
Nightlife is another pillar Pattaya’s fame rests on. Bars and discotheques, thronged by merry-making people every evening, are open till early hours. Bars are the major place for night entertainment and Pattaya has thousands of these. Pattaya is famous for shows like Alangkarn Show, Tiffany’s Show and Alcazaar Show. These shows are known worldwide for their flamboyance.
 
Pattaya, a hub of tourism activities, offers a wide variety when it comes to accommodation. Visitors have the liberty from these, depending on their budget. One can decide for luxurious multi-star hotel, spacious bayside bungalows, exotic resorts or budget hotels. One has just to choose on the accommodation one wants and Pattaya would provide it.
 
AIRPORT: Pattaya’s nearest airport is U-Tapao International Airport

PHUKET :  Phuket is the largest island in Thailand. At 540 square kilometres, it's about the same size as Singapore. Just over an hour by jet from Bangkok or Singapore, and with daily connections to most major Asian airports, Phuket is ideally situated for a short break or a relaxing vacation.Business hours are generally from 9 am to 5 pm, weekdays, plus 9 am to 12 am on Saturdays, except public holidays when hours may vary widely. Banking hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Currency exchange booths operate as retail outlets and are usually open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shops and stores also open from 10 or 11 am to 10 pm, everyday.
